WANTED: Experienced Tutors
University Tutoring, an independently owned tutoring center in the Seattle area since 1979,
offers individualized tutoring programs for students in grades K – adult. We work closely with
each client to design a program that takes into consideration specific objectives, learning style,
schedule, and unique needs.
University Tutoring has open positions for tutors in the following subjects:
– AP Calculus
– Precalculus
– Algebra I/II
– Geometry
– AP Physics
– AP Chemistry
– AP Biology
– SAT/ACT Test Prep
– Writing/LA/History
– Study Skills/Organizational Skills

Details about the job:
-We are located in Laurelhurst, just east of University Village.
-All tutoring is on-site. (We do not travel to homes or schools.)
-All tutoring is one-to-one and sessions last 50 minutes.
-Students will be mostly middle school through high school with occasional college students and
are matched to tutors according to needs, subjects, personality, and teaching/learning styles.
-Hours are flexible between 1-9pm Mon-Thurs, and 10-6 Sundays.
-5-20 hours a week, maybe more with other subject areas.
-Willingness to tutor multiple subject a HUGE plus.
-Hired as an Employee and NOT just an independent contractor.
