Kleinfelder is looking for part-time or full-time interns for the Fall/Winter 2023-2024 in Geotechnical Lab & Field-Testing Services. This a great opportunity for students pursing a graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
Under the supervision of experienced PE’s and certified staff, the intern will assist in advanced lab testing and data logging of field explorations. Hands on training will be provided. The intern will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
This opportunity is expected to last three months; however, is flexible on exact dates.
Candidates must have successfully completed a soils mechanics/geotechnical engineering class and lab (i.e., introduction to soil classification possibly through sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, etc.). General knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel is preferred.
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
