Hi all,
We were just contacted by Skanska and they have LOTS of internships and jobs they would like to fill with great CEE students and grads. They are looking for folks to work on their “big 3” projects in the Seattle area:
- Lynnwood Link Extension (L300) – finish up a $900 million light rail job from Shoreline to Lynnwood. It’s nearly done, be there as the complete the project and open it to the public! We have had 10+ UW interns and fill-time employees on this project over the years. This really is the light rail that UW built.
- I-405 Brickyard – $600 million of work on I-405 in the Bothell area including new toll lanes, direct access ramps, and widening I-405.
- Portage Bay Bridge – Fix up SR 520 from Montlake to I-5. This $1.4 billion job starts as soon as WSDOT can find the money.
Do your internship on some iconic Seattle/PNW infrastructure. For the rest of you life, you could tell your family and friends, “I helped build that.”
