Washington Asphalt Pavement Association scholarship applications are due Friday, April 5th at 11:59 p.m. Information is down below. This is not a lot of work for $1,000 in your pocket for Spring Quarter. Right now, I see many applications started, but only 10 complete. I know there is over a week left, but just wanted to remind everyone to get those applications in and complete.
I share with you a great scholarship program available to CEE students that is accepting applications right now. This scholarship program is:
UW Washington Asphalt Pavement Association Scholarships
The Washington Asphalt Pavement Association (WAPA), the professional trade organization for asphalt pavement contractors in Washington State, will be awarding at least 15 scholarships of at least $1,000 each for students in our department. This program, established in 2002 has awarded 770 scholarships totaling over $1,000,000 to students in the State of Washington just like you. So, they have been supporting folks like you for quite some time. Eligibility criteria are pretty broad and stated in the application itself.

- The scholarships are awarded as checks directly to you
