Hi CEE students, 

The CEE department is currently accepting applications for the position of undergraduate TA for CEE 317: GeoSurveying in Autumn 2024. 

The TA will be responsible for checking the equipment out and back in within 10 minutes of the start/end times, responding to simple student questions regarding lab procedures, and making sure that equipment remains functioning throughout the lab. The position does not require office hours or responding to questions related to lectures or assignments. CEE 317 has four lab sections (T, W, Th 1:30-4:20 and F 8:30-11:20), and you may apply for some or for all of the labs. 

This position pays $21.57 per hour – each lab pays for 4 hours (3 hours in lab + 1 hour preparation). To apply, please contact Professor Kamal Ahmed directly at kamal@uw.edu and provide the following information:

3. Lab(s) you can attend
4. Level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS (this knowledge is not a requirement, but is a plus)
