Orion Engineers & Associates is an airfield engineering company that is currently seeking an intern to assist with several ongoing airport improvement projects. The ideal candidate would have an interest in pavement/grading design, construction cost estimation, AutoCad/Civil 3D, construction management, and of course all things aviation. We are particularly excited to have an intern with us through our King County International Airport improvement project! 

Airfield engineering is a niche of Civil & Environmental Engineering with exciting challenges and unique design aspects that make it a rewarding and engaging career path. Orion is proud to be in its 9th year of business, led by a team of senior engineers with an average of over 20 years of experience in aviation engineering and civil infrastructure design.  

Orion’s Seattle office staff are looking forward to visiting UW for an ASCE Lunch & Learn on February 19th, 12:30-1:20 in More Hall 220 to talk more about our past and current projects, and to answer questions from those interested in the world of airfield design and engineering.
