Come join SPE for their first Meet and Greet of the school year! This event is for interested students at the University of Washington and for any member of the Pacific Northwest Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Dr. Tom Doe, a consultant with the FracMan Technology Group within Golder Associates Inc., will briefly talk about his experience as a consultant in the oil and gas industry while being based in Seattle. He has over 30 years experience in Roch mechanics (especially hydraulic fracturing), Reservoir Engineering, and well test analysis. These social events serve as our quarterly networking and outreach event, where professionals in the oil and gas industry and students get to meet and network. When: Thursday, November 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: Big Time Brewery & Alehouse (near UW in Seattle). Minors are welcome in the brewery until 8:00 PM. Due to seating limitations, we currently can accommodate a maximum of 20 people, so please send your RSVP as soon as possible. Google Map Directions
