Construction Management/Engineering Intern Wanted

Key Responsibilities: This is a temporary, summer internship position on a construction job site and in an office environment. The Intern is responsible for assisting the Project Administration and office staff with estimating, photocopying and assembling documents and binders, assisting project managers and project engineers, visiting project sites, drafting correspondence, and putting together various plans, among other duties that may be assigned from time to time. The qualified candidate must be able to, among other duties assigned from time to time:

  • Exercise independent judgment and efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups, clients, subcontractors, individual employees, job-site teams, and company executives

Minimum RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have demonstrated interpersonal skills with a variety of individuals and groups, clients, subcontractors, individual employees, job-site teams, and company executives. The qualified candidate will also have strong relationship building skills, effective communication, and the ability organize and evaluate information and proactively find solutions.

  • Working towards a degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test
