Volunteers Needed for Greenroads Earth Week

Greenroads is looking for several student volunteers for upcoming Earth Week events, starting Saturday, April 16th, at the Redmond Headquarters, 17371 NE 67th Court, Suite B202, 1-4pm. You will be assisting in assembling reception goodies and making sure everything is in place for Tuesday night as well as making student badges and running errands for supplies.

Other volunteer dates 

  • Sunday, same time and place. This date you will be assisting in assembling reception goodies and making sure everything is in place for Tuesday night if there are other items still not completed and preparing workshop folders for a small class of project managers and consultants on Monday.
  • Monday, April 18 8-12 AM shift for an on-call helper near downtown Seattle (South Lake Union area)
  • Monday, April 18 12-5PM shift for an on-call helper near downtown Seattle (SLU)
  • Monday, April 18 3:00 – 5PM free tour of the Mercer East Phase Project open to everyone that registers on the events page: www.greenroads.org/events cohosted by YPT Seattle. 5 more spots are open.
  • Monday: 5PM-? YPT Hosted Happy Hour at NYP Bar & Grill
  • Tuesday, 8:30-12 PM shift for an on-call helper on campus
  • Tuesday, 12-3 PM shift for an on-call helper on campus
  • Tuesday, 5PM-8:30PM, Earth Week Reception. 6 people are needed to register as a volunteer and help at the welcome table.
  • Thursday, April 21, all day work day at Greenroads headquarters. Rides can be provided if needed (bus to Redmond Transit Center is easy from UW on Route 542 from campus)
  • Friday, April 22, Greenroads Earth Day Volunteering: all day work day at Greenroads headquarters, just helping out at the office. Rides can be provided if needed (bus to Redmond Transit Center is easy from UW on Route 542 from campus).

Students are also welcome to attend the reception but if you are unable to volunteer the student ticket is $20. Registration is at  www.greenroads.org/events.
