Alex is a fourth-year graduate student who joined the Chatterjee Lab in 2021 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biochemistry. His research interests include developing new methods for chemical protein synthesis and the application thereof towards understanding the effects of small-molecule PTMs on the activity of disease relevant proteins. In his spare time, Alex likes to cook, play video games, and enjoy the beautiful nature around the Seattle area.
