Alex is a fourth year graduate student. Alex graduated in 2020 from UNC-Chapel Hill with a major in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Neuroscience.  He joined Prof. Chatterjee’s lab in the spring of 2021 and is interested in exploring the crosstalk between post-translational modifications on histone tails, in particular small molecule modifications such as methylation and acetylation.  In his free time he enjoys playing video games, exploring the many restaurants on The Ave, and taking hikes with his lab mates.
