Dr. Ross Kessler

Dr. Ross Kessler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and works clinically at Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Kessler is a graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed residency at the University of Pennsylvania and an emergency ultrasound fellowship at Denver Health Medical Center. Prior to relocating to Seattle, he served as Doctoring Faculty and the Director of Ultrasound in Medical Education at the University of Michigan. Dr. Kessler has a passion for teaching and primarily chose a career path in academics in order to teach and mentor students. He is continually impressed with the talent and empathy of the medical students at UW. His wife is a faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine with a research focus on the biomechanics of athletes and marathoners. They have two small children and an anxious dog with whom they love to explore the pacific northwest.
