Please email Kevin (kevins@uw.edu) or come to the shop person to schedule trainings. Safety training and 3D-Printer orientation take roughly 1 hour. Additional training on Mills and Lathes will take 1 hour each. Trainings for other machines including laser cutter, water jet, band saws, and the wood shop are available upon request.
Machine shop training from the ME and Physics machine shops are accepted here. Specific machine trainings taken in the SIC are applicable to other shops including the ME and AA machine shops upon meeting with Aemon and Shawn respectively. General safety trainings for each shop may still be required.
