Matt Campbell wins Young Investigator Award at the SFRBM annual Meeting

Matthew Campbell recently received the Young Investigator Award at Society for Redox Biology and Medicine’s annual meeting in San Francisco (2016) for his work “Improved Skeletal Muscle Redox State Increases Aged Skeletal Muscle Performance.” His work demonstrates a link between improving skeletal muscle redox state and skeletal muscle fatigue, bioenergetics, and resistance to Sarcopenia. These exciting results are part of a manuscript currently in preparation and will help guide future investigation into redox modifications as they relate to age and skeletal muscle function.
