We were able to get the backpack lidar that utilizes a SLAM algorithm out into the field during the workshop. Here are Shenghua Wan and Qifeng Wan using the lidar backpack and check out the point cloud below!

During the workshop, participants scanned many of the locations we stopped at. This data will be used in the final projects for the workshop so stay tuned for more awesome lidar application
