Student Engagement and Digital Communications Specialist

Are you an enthusiastic undergraduate student passionate about fostering community and digital communications? The Q Center is looking for a dedicated Student Engagement and Digital Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll engage with fellow students, manage front desk duties, lead outreach efforts, create compelling digital communications, execute marketing plans, and produce engaging newsletters. Your contribution will be pivotal in nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community at the Q Center while upholding our mission and values. This role is for undergraduate students at UW Seattle only. Work study eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Graduate Program & Policy Education Coordinator

Are you a graduate student eager to make a difference in LGBTQ+ advocacy and education? The Q Center seeks a Graduate Program & Policy Education Coordinator to disseminate updates on political developments relevant to LGBTQ+ students across the university. You’ll track local, state, and federal policy changes, translate updates into accessible formats for students, and educate folks with knowledge about their rights and upcoming legislation. Additionally, you’ll share responsibility for our Queer Mentorship and Peer Program (QMPP), hold a seat on the Graduate Student Senate (GPSS), and contribute to social programming and Gayme Night events for LGBTQ+ gamers.  This role is for graduate students at UW Seattle only.
