Q Center

Lavender Graduation 2024

The Q Center is once again hosting Lavender Graduation in person on the Seattle campus this June fourth!

LGBTQ+ students often grapple with unique obstacles that can affect their academic experience and lead to lower graduation rates. Lavender Graduation is a space to acknowledge and honor these struggles, and to celebrate the resiliency of the amazing students in our learning community.

Each LGBTQ+ graduate embodies the courage, brilliance, and power of our community. Lavender graduation is an opportunity to recognize their academic achievements and their determination to complete their education in a joyous celebration of identity, community, and vibrance.

Join us as we applaud these extraordinary graduates and reaffirm that every LGBTQ+ student is worthy of celebration, recognition, and pride. All UW students, faculty, staff, and affiliated community members are welcome to attend.
