Getting Around Seattle

If walking, cycling, or paddle-boarding does not appeal to you, the University of Washington’s campus sits in a prime location to access many of King County’s public transportation services. Two light rail stations and dozens of bus stops connect the UW campus to the rest of the city.

All full-time University of Washington employees are provided a U-PASS on their Husky Card as part of their benefits package, which covers unlimited rides on several transit systems in the greater Seattle metro area at no cost to the employee! Many employees commute to campus with this benefit, and it can be used for any personal travel within the area as well.
