Can I change my rotations over the course of the year?
Yes! We encourage our residents to explore their interests and we understand that interests change over time. We accommodate changes availability permitting.
Staffing
We require our ID PGY2 to staff 32 hours per 4 weeks. This equates to every other weekend. Based on feedback from previous residents, we have modified the schedule to allow for one weekend day off – Residents work Saturday/Sunday and Friday/Saturday per 4 week period. We have also incorporated an ED shift into the schedule to replace one staffing shift to allow for more clinical time.
Projects
Our residents have completed a wide variety of projects that range from implementation projects to outpatient stewardship. We often have a list of project ideas to select from so you can find a project that best fits your interests. You can read more about resident projects.
