Moein earned his Ph.D. in the Sustainable Transportation Lab in 2024, focusing on the travel behavior implications of connected and automated vehicles, and in particular their interactions with transit and ridehailing services. He started his doctoral program at the University of Washington after achieving a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran.
