Campus emergency updates
As the snow and ice continue, please stay updated on campus closures on the UW Tacoma Emergency Communications Blog.
Fines & due dates
We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about due dates and late fines. Any item that is due while the University and Library are closed will be backdated to the last day we were open. In other words: return the book, calculator, laptop, etc. the day we reopen, and you will not get fined.
Scroll down for information for how to do get research help from your couch in your pajamas.
Stay warm & safe, Huskies!
Get research help from home
This means that the UW Tacoma Library is closed for the rest of the day today. But no fear: research help is still available to you. Here are your options:
- Use our Start Your Research or Research By Subject guides.
- Ask Us 24/7 chat: chat with a UW Librarian between the hours of 9-5; chat with our support colleagues the rest of the day and night!
- Email us: This is a useful option if you are not in any rush. We will respond within 24 hours.
If you choose to call us, we will get to your question when the library reopens.
