Although so much has happened over the course of 4 months, and just when we thought we were all “zoomed” out, the UW Tacoma Library took time to celebrate our student employees, who graduated this June, with a virtual graduation party.

Words of encouragement were given to our graduating class by our Interim Library Director & Interim Associate Dean of University Libraries, Justin Wadland, and by our special guest, former Library Director, Lauren Pressley, now the Associate Dean for Research & Learning Services of University Libraries.

Our celebrated class of 2020 graduating student employees are,
Joan Hua, MLIS; Christy McDaniel, MLIS; Kristen Orth, MLIS; Fatuma Hassan, BA-IAS; Chinh Le, CSS; Michelle Yang, CSS; Jegan Selvaraj, MSBA

Congratulations UW Tacoma Library graduates for surviving and thriving during a very challenging time in world history!  Thank you for a job exceptionally well done!
