A new year may be upon us, but the UWT Library Lab continues!

Has anything changed?

The UWT Library Lab still brings library staff to you at the UWT YMCA, but will instead run every Monday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in January, February and the first week of March, not including Martin Luther King, Jr., Day (January 15) and President’s Day (February 19).

What is the UWT Library Lab?

For two hours, Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) Graduate Student Staff offer to assist folks with any research assignments or interests they may have and answer all sorts of questions about the library, including how to check out books, the kinds of digital and physical resources that are available and how people can access them and our various types of services, programs and more. We encourage everyone to stop by our table to chat and pick up some handy post-it notes, highlighters, numerous flyers and snacks!

Why stop by the UWT Library Lab?

The UWT Library Lab is conveniently located to support students on campus at or nearby the YMCA. In addition to saving time trekking to the library, students have direct access to our Student Staff, who are ready to assist with all inquiries. As peers, we have acquired unique insight into navigating the library and information landscape and are happy to share our experiences!
