CEE Ugrad Weekly: Seniors – Apply to Graduate! | WIN20

A message from Brian, Charlotte and Lauren:

There are a few important dates and deadlines coming up so please make sure to read through this and mark your calendars where necessary.

We also wanted to promote our CEE Student Org Info Sessions, the first of which is the ASCE Social taking place today at 4:30pm (Concrete Canoe, EWB and APWA are next week). Details can be found on the Ugrad Advising Calendar and the CEE Student News Blog (once details have been sent out).

As always, there are many ways to connect with us if you have questions, all of which can be found on our advising page.

CEE Seniors: Apply to Graduate! Complete Grad App form by 5pm Fri, 10/16

 AUT20 Registration Deadlines

Each academic quarter students may drop one course after the 14th calendar day of a quarter, but no later than the end of the Late Course Drop Period. Once this “quarterly drop” is used, students will be directed to a process to be able to drop their second to all classes for weeks three through seven. An annotation of RD for Registrar Drop will appear for all Current Quarter Drops. There is a $20 Change of Registration Fee charged for all registration changes made on a single day during this period. A tuition forfeiture may be charged. Learn more about the Current Quarter Drop process.

WIN20 Schedule Planning

WIN20 Time Schedule goes live on Friday, 10/16! (Period 1 registration begins 11/6)

    • Please remember to check the course time schedule notes (located under each individual course or at the top of each department’s time schedule page).
    • Also, as mentioned in President Cauce’s email today, winter quarter will look very similar to autumn quarter in terms of delivery and the number of courses online. You can expect more details to come out about this as we get closer to the start of WIN20.
  • Juniors: You will be registering on your own for WIN20. You will not be receiving add codes as you did for AUT20.

To prepare for your registration, make sure that you’ve identified the courses that you will be taking according to your assigned Track or program (see degree sheets or BSCE/BSENVE 4 year plans), identify the SLN’s associated with your section preferences, and be ready to register on your registration date using the “register with SLNs” link on your MyUW page.

We also recommend having backup sections ready in case your first choice fills up.
