AECOM Hiring Event This Month

Hey University of Washington Civil & Environmental Engineering Students,

It was great getting to meet many of you at the career fair a few weeks ago. As mentioned there, our U.S. West region is hosting an Early Careers Hiring Event here in our Seattle Office.

There will be a networking mixer on Thursday, November 30th, followed by interviews on Friday, December 1st. This is your chance to meet AECOM staff, department heads, market sector leaders, and more. Job offers will be sent out to selected candidates after interviews conclude! Open the attached PDF Fantastic Fridays – Seattle Edition and scan the QR code to register for the event. Event details will be emailed to you.

You can search our entire job openings list here https://aecom.jobs/. Available here in Seattle, we have several positions open for next summer. Just a few examples include:

Engineering Intern – Summer 2024

Entry Level Positions

Positions with potential permanent residency sponsorship

AECOM is a global engineering team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. We are one of the largest engineering firms in the US, working on major projects all over including many here locally. Examples include:

  • Concourse N at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (Designed here in Seattle)
  • The One World Trade Center (Built by AECOM Tishman)
  • California High Speed Rail (Program Management Support by our Sacramento Office)
  • Founding member of the Automated Bus Consortium (led by the AV/CV team at AECOM)
  • The I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Bus Rapid Transit Design-Build project (with the Lead Designer here in Seattle).

AECOM values equity, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace. One way is through our Employee Resource Groups, allowing employees across offices and regions to connect over shared life experiences and interests. These groups provide a great opportunity for networking and connecting with others. Some examples include the following:

  • Early Career Professionals
  • Beyond Abilities (For disabled, neurodiverse, and caregivers)
  • JUNTOS (Hispanic Community)
  • MOSAIC (Asian American-Pacific Islander Community)
  • BeBold (Black Community)
  • Pride (LGBTQ+ Community)
  • Veterans Alliance
  • Women’s Leadership Alliance

On top of it all, we provide flexible work arrangements. Employees are empowered to work in the way best for them, the team, and the client. This can look like working from home, the office, the job site, or remotely, dependent upon team and client requirements.

We look forward to seeing you at the Hiring Event! In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
