Happy Spring Quarter, Huskies! The library staff has been hard at work over the interim, and we want to remind you of some information that makes the library even easier for new and returning students to use as they wrap up this awesome academic year.
Need to know info
If you’re new to campus or could use a refresher on some of our services for students, we’ve got you covered. This infographic will help you get started on getting research help, reserving a group study room, checking out a graphing calculator, and more.
Our textbook pilot program is now a permanent (and award-winning!) part of our library services. We’re thrilled to continue offering short term loans of all (yes, ALL) UW Tacoma course textbooks costing $75 or more. Visit us in TLB to check them out and get more info.
Hit the ground running
We have a little extra help this year connecting our two library spaces in SNO and TLB. Next time you need to run across the sky bridge to grab a book, just follow the yellow foot prints.
Want to talk books?
Real Lit[erature] is a book club for UW Tacoma students, faculty, and staff. During the quarter, we will be reading Darius the Great is not Okay by Adib Khorram and talking about issues related to mental health and clinical depression, being the child of immigrants, visiting family, and acceptance. Orientation is Thursday, 4/4. Sign up here! Students receive a free copy of the book on a first come, first serve basis!
We love helping you get your research off to a good start! But if you need help at 2 am, don’t forget our 24/7 real-time chat service!
