Bridget Ferriss recently joined the lab and was awarded an NIH supplement for postdoc support to model potential human exposure to the algal toxin domoic acid (DA). She will use field data to determine relevant potential exposure levels to DA in shellfish consumers for use in designing more relevant exposures for tests of chronic toxicity.
