Dear Wellness Community,

As we delight in the final days of the summer season, savor the last warmer days, beautiful sunsets over the water, gardens full of color, birds, squirrels and bunnies and taste of yummy BBQs at the park or in the backyard, there are changes on the horizon.

On my morning stroll, I see the familiar yellow school buses in the neighborhood, notice school kids getting ready for a new school year (this time in person) and trees full of apples and pears. Fall is here! Let’s take a moment to enjoy the summer activities that energized us as we step into a new season.

What will the new season bring? What can we look forward to?

In this month’s issue, we honor Hispanic Heritage month, share cool recipe ideas and some fun events in and around Seattle. You can participate in a street mural for BLM!  Speaking of new beginnings, we are pleased to welcome our newest member of the GME Wellness Team: Patty Long-Brohm. Patty’s schedule is open for new Wellness appointments.  Here’s how you can schedule with Patty.

Another helpful resource is UW Care Link (it is 24/7 and can offer you referrals and resources).
