Today UW GME is excited to formally open the Resident / Fellow Well-Being Index. This validated tool was created by researchers at Mayo Clinic and is an opportunity to help you, our residents and fellows, better understand your overall well-being and areas of risk compared to other trainees across the nation. After taking the short 7 questions assessment you’ll be connected with targeted local and national resources.

How do I request a certificate of liability coverage?
Proof of insurance may be requested from UW Risk Services.
I will be starting training at UW this coming academic year. When will I start receiving onboarding information?
Onboarding packets are delivered to incoming UW residents and fellows via the MedHub residency management system starting in March. If have questions about the onboarding process, please review the resources on the Incoming Residents & Fellows section of this site.

What are my benefits options as a UW employee?
The Summary of Benefits for Residents and Fellows provides an overview of benefits options – including health, dental, LTD and retirement plan options – available to residents and fellows. Benefits enrollment letters are sent to new employees via the University of Washington’s Workday HR/payroll system during their first week of employment.
