Infrastructure

In addition to our other services, SEFS IT also provides management of the school’s physical and virtual servers located in the UW Data Center.  Perhaps the most widely used of these systems is SEFS’ Madrona virtual desktop infrastructure.  Other systems include:

• STF-funded compute servers (Pilchuck, Skykomish, Snoqualmie, Euclid)
• Faculty-specific physical servers
• Numerous virtual application servers that power services such as PaperCut
• CAAMS (Campus Automated Access Management System) managed lock system for exterior building access, science labs, and shared technology spaces
