Medical Student Supervision

One of the benefits of training in an academic institution is the opportunity to work alongside and train medical students in your specialty. We are all responsible for ensuring that they have a high-quality learning experience.

According to LCME (medical school accrediting body), all residents must receive resident-as-teacher training, which we provide online. In addition, residents supervising students must be familiar with policies that apply to medical students and oriented to learning goals and objectives and clinical encounters for required clinical clerkships, where applicable.
