Description: The Department of Radiology believes that all pediatric clinicians should be aware of the range of services available to them, and should understand in what context a radiologic examination will be helpful for their patient. A basic knowledge in interpreting common examinations is also useful for better understanding of disease processes, and to better be able to communicate with patients and their families. We are committed to providing a high level of instruction and guidance, using state-of-the-art methods, equipment and information. Residents, in turn, have an obligation to their individual education through observation, teaching file cases, attending available lectures, view box instruction, and interdisciplinary conferences.
