This elective allows residents to design their own away rotation within the United States. Previous residents have used this elective to work at the Indian Health Service in New Mexico or to explore a hospital system and city they may be considering for fellowship. If you already have a site in mind, meet with the elective director at least 6 months ahead of time to ensure it meets our programs requirements.
