About Me
I am brand new to the west coast but have moved around the midwest and east coast before moving to Seattle. I decided on pediatrics because I love working with entire families to help children reach their fullest potential, along with the opportunity to make an impact on a lifetime of health. I am especially interested in the intersections between community programming, preventive healthcare, and health equity. Before medical school, I did a couple service corps years as a case manager at a nonprofit clinic in the DC area. I have loved exploring Seattle so far and getting to know my co-residents! Some highlights have been Green Lake floats and walking around all the different neighborhoods.
Why UW Pediatrics/Seattle Children’s?
I was looking for a program that would prepare me to be a strong general pediatrician, with equity and advocacy as core values.
Why Seattle?
Everything is green! We’re surrounded by water, lots of great food and museums, with incredible nature just a short drive away

I’d love to talk to you about:
What it’s like to move cross-country, moving (and transitioning to residency) with a non-medical partner, primary care and/or advocacy in residency, work-life balance during intern year, the wonders of Costco, finding the best Tex-Mex in Seattle, starting to bike commute in a new city.
