The Fund for the Public Interest in Seattle, WA is a national non-profit organization that works to build support for progressive organizations across the country.
This summer, we’re working in Seattle with Environment Washington on a campaign to close loopholes in the Clean Water Act. Loopholes in the law leave more than 38,000 miles of Washington’s streams vulnerable to pollution, many of them feeding directly into the Puget Sound, a body of water I know so many of us here in Washington love.
So we’re hiring students from across the state, and specifically at University of Washington, as paid staff to help with our campaign and citizen outreach work this summer and fall in our Seattle office.
As paid campaign staff, students will build grassroots power, learn the building blocks of political organizing, and work closely with our senior staff management team. The email below describes our organization and positions available, and has a link to a form for students to fill out if they would like to hear more about campaign opportunities.
