Description: Spend a month learning a more in depth approach to the assessment and management of cases of child abuse and neglect. Cases of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and medical child abuse will be explored by way of consultations, case conferences, radiology review, didactics and current literature. Optional activities can include witnessing forensic child interviews, time spent in the prosecutor’s office, time with CPS, time at the sexual assault center and other community experiences which may be of interest to individual residents.
