Internship Opportunity in Transportation

The Cascade Bicycle Club is seeking an Intern to assist in their fall statewide bicycle and pedestrian count program. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about active transportation advocacy, working for a large non-profit organization, public sector contracts, outreach, and data collection.

The position would be 10-20 hours per week, starting mid-August and ending sometime in October (however exact dates are flexible with the intern). While the internship is not-paid, they offer easy access from the Burke-Gilman Trail, free membership for one year, and free access to their signature rides and classes.  They’ve also got as much high quality and complementary coffee and tea as you can drink – and often have free meals and snacks.  Plus they’re a fun and fantastic team!

Undergrads and grads are welcome to apply.  For more information (responsibilities, qualifications, timeline, and how to apply) visit their site here: http://www.cascade.org/about/jobs#countintern
