Boeing Internship

Interested in an internship? Read on to learn more about exciting opportunities during summer 2016!

The Boeing Company has internships available for Summer 2016. Wade Price, a CEE UW alumni, from Boeing Commercial Airplane Company will be on campus to discuss possible internships in Payloads Engineering, the group he directly works within. Typically, his group hires two interns per year. If you’re interested in learning more about the Payloads Engineering opportunity, attend the information session Wade is hosting on campus. The meeting information is as follows:

When: Thursday, Oct 29 at 4:30 PM

Where: More 110

The application process is online here. Please be aware that the application deadline is soon so there is not much time to think about this. If you’re interested in working with Wade, be sure to select Payloads Engineering on the application.

More 110 is small, so room will be limited on Oct 29.

2015 Department of Construction Management Career Fair and Other Major Career Fairs

Announcing 2015 Department of Construction Management career fair!

Largely the companies that attend are construction companies/contractors. You will see companies that do vertical construction and heavy civil. If you have a specific company in mind do a bit of homework about them then go over on Nov 5 and introduce yourself.

This is open to ALL students, so please don’t hesitate to swing by and talk
to potential employers about internships and jobs.  As usual there will lots
of free swag, don’t miss out!

Confirmed Meeting Time for Information Session on Summer Internship with the FHWA

The FHWA has confirmed the meeting time for the information session and subsequent interview times. They are actively seeking and interviewing for internships during summer 2016. If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity, be sure to attend the information session detailed below:

When: Wednesday, Oct 28 at 5:00 PM

Where: More 225

At the end of the briefing on the 28th, you will have an opportunity to sign up for an interview. If you get an interview slot, they will be conducted the next day, Oct 29.

FLH is relied upon by Fed­eral Land Man­age­ment Agency Part­ners such as: the National Park Ser­vice (NPS); USDA For­est Ser­vice (For­est Ser­vice); U.S. Fish and Wildlife Ser­vice (USFWS); Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Tribal Gov­ern­ments; Bureau of Land Man­age­ment (BLM); Depart­ment of Defense (DOD); U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers (USACE); and Bureau of Recla­ma­tion (BOR) to solve and man­age unique chal­lenges that are wide-ranging in envi­ron­ment, geog­ra­phy and com­plex­ity, through engi­neer­ing solu­tions that are sen­si­tive to the con­text of the land.
