Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and consultants to complete project scopes of work in a manner consistent with JRS’s company standards and procedures.
  • Produce and develop enclosure details by utilizing and contributing to JRS’s detail library. Manage deliverable schedules.
  • Participate in collaborative design processes with architects, engineers, landscape architects and contractors.
  • Assist with work under construction by reviewing submittals and RFIs and assisting with testing.
  • Attend field visits and meetings and produce follow-up reports. Produce preliminary drawings and specifications reviews for new construction projects, under the supervision of senior engineers, architects, or consultants. Have fun and challenge yourself.

Husky Food Pantry Open!

The Office of the VP for Student Life, in partnership with the ASUW Student Food Cooperative, the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center, the Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center, and the HUB, is launching a campus food pantry that aims to provide basic nutritional assistance for UW students, staff, and faculty. To participate int he pantry, the only requirement is a Husky card. The Pantry seeks to create a welcoming space where all members of the campus community have access to nourishing resources so they can thrive. No Husky should go hungry.

Campus food pantry offerings are shelf-stable, non-perishable items, including: 

  • canned fruit
  • canned chicken, tuna, and salmon
  • soups and stews
  • peanut or other nut butters (especially crunchy)
  • Shelf-stable milk alternatives (rice, soy, hemp, etc.)
  • Cereal
  • Cooking oil
  • Toiletries
