Reminder! BSCE Senior Class Picture Day (Monday, May 16th)

Attention 2016 BSCE Graduating Class! Mark your calendars for the 2016 senior class picture day! As is the tradition in the CEE Department, we will have a photo taken of the graduating class. Be there! Graduates who earned their degrees in Autumn 2015 or Winter 2016, and candidates who are scheduled to graduate in Spring or Summer 2016 are eligible to participate.

  • When: Monday, May 16th
  • Time: 12:30 pm
  • Location: Roberts Hall Amphitheater

Summer Internships and Entry Level Positions with Fehr & Peers

Fehr & Peers is a team of entrepreneurial individuals empowered to collaborate, innovate, and develop creative solutions that improve communities. They provide planning and engineering services associated with all modes of transportation. Fehr & Peers is currently hiring for entry-level and internship positions for this summer.

Entry-level engineers and planners will be exposed to several projects from their wide areas of emphasis and a wide variety of tasks, including:

  • Transportation analysis using the latest traffic engineering and planning software
  • Design opportunities, including design of traffic signals, bicycle lanes and paths, streetscape and lighting
  • Report writing
  • Field work
  • Meeting participation, including preparation of presentations and public outreach material
  • Project management
  • On-the-job training and mentoring
  • Participation in professional organizations
