Civil Engineering Summer Internship Opportunity – KPFF Civil (Seattle)

Calling all Civil Engineering Juniors interested in a summer internship in civil site design and consulting!

KPFF’s Civil Team is looking for motivated and engaged civil engineering students between their Junior and Senior year for a summer internship with our Seattle Civil Team. You will work within a fun, dynamic, and diverse team and will have the opportunity to engage on projects from the beginning planning stages through construction documents, and during construction. Project types vary from site development to utility infrastructure to regional stormwater facilities in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

When interning with us, you will go beyond getting a glimpse into your future career as a civil engineer.  We will integrate you into our teams and we are excited to share our professional experience with you as we work on projects together.  You will help solve real design problems and help complete active project work. Job responsibilities will vary depending on team, project, and each individual intern’s interests.

Monday 10/28 deadline: Coral Sales Scholarship

Dear students,

Coral Sales Co. funds two scholarships (each $1000) annually at the UW. There are some very specific eligibility criteria, including:

– must intend to pursue a career in highway/transportation engineering or highway construction, in the Pacific Northwest

– must have resided in the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, or AK) for the last six years

– senior or graduate student standing

Full criteria and application instructions, as well as the application form, are found in the attached documents.

Your essay should address the criteria identified in the two documents and should be limited to one page, single spaced. Submit your materials no later than 11:59 PM on Monday, October 28.
