Join the EERI at UW student chapter for our February monthly meeting. The meeting will feature the Friedman Family Visiting Professionals Program Lecturer, Jay Wilson, the Clackamas County Resilience Coordinator with the Department of Disaster Management. He will be speaking about how emergency managers provide context for community risk management decisions. All are encouraged to attend – you do not need to be a member of EERI. More information about the presentation can be found in the attached flyer. *** CEE Juniors*** SPR19 & Senior Year Planning Info

Hello CEE Juniors –

As you prepare for SPR19 registration, we wanted to highlight a few items of interest:

  • CEE 3XX Track Classes: As in WIN19, you will be registering on your own for SPR19. Please make sure to stay within your track. If you intend to go off-track, make sure you have discussed your plan with an advisor.

We are in the process of moving some things around so make sure to double check the time schedule course notes as we approach the Feb 15th period I registration

  • Structures Focus: If you are intending to focus in Structures, it is imperative that you take CEE 456 in spring quarter of your Junior year as indicated on the BSCE Senior Year Planning Sheet.
  • Senior Year Planning: We will be hosting Faculty Mentoring Sessions in April.

WSEHA 2019 Environmental Health Scholarships

The Washington State Environmental Health Association (WSEHA) scholarship program gives recognition to outstanding and deserving undergraduate students majoring in environmental health (or in an allied discipline) and who intend to take employment in the field of environmental health in Washington State upon completion of the baccalaureate degree requirements.
