Registration for the 98th ACS Colloids and Surface Science Symposium is now open! Please visit our website at colloids2024.org to register. Early registration rates are available until May 15, 2024. At this time, you can also reserve on-campus dormitories for your conference lodging. The deadline for guaranteed space in on-campus housing is midnight May 9, 2024. Rooms may be available after this date, but we cannot guarantee it. Our website has details on booking hotels or alternative accommodations as well, so please be sure to review your options!

The College of Engineering’s Women Engineers Rise (WE Rise) Conference is taking place on Sat April 1st from 9am-5pm in the HUB.

CEE would like to sponsor a number of students to attend the conference so if you are interested, please email ceadvice@uw.edu with your name and ID number and we will help get you set up. Spaces are limited so respond as soon as possible. (If you have already registered, please let us know as well and we will see about covering your registration fees as well.)

This signature event is our biggest of the year, involving various presentations, workshops, networking opportunities, and a career/resource fair! Attendees include students from across the region and industry leaders such as Microsoft, Boeing, F-5, T-Mobile, and more.

This year’s conference will be held in downtown Seattle in just one month and will feature a wide variety of technical and plenary sessions, workshops, and technical tours.
