2025 Day of Event Instructions for Graduates

Dear Graduating Students,

As we count down the days to your June 7th graduation ceremony, please take a moment to review the essential items below:

🎓 Graduation RSVP

If you haven’t already, please submit your RSVP so we can plan accordingly for you and your guests.

🎤 Student Speaker Nominations

We’re looking for a student to give a short speech at the ceremony to represent the graduating class. Do you know someone with a great story or message? Nominate them!

🌟 CEE Outstanding Awards

Help us recognize faculty, TAs, and mentors who have gone above and beyond in their teaching and support.

🌍 CEE Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award

Nominate one student and one faculty member who have worked to build a more inclusive and equitable department.

🏆 CEE Staff Award

Give a shout-out to a staff member who has provided exceptional service and support during your time in the program.

CEE 25 Grad Celebration

Hello CEE Seniors, 

If you plan to complete your BSCE or BSENVE degree in Autumn 2024, Winter 2025, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025, it is time to apply to graduate!

Here are the steps we need you to complete: 

1. Run a fresh degree audit (DARS) and carefully review your remaining requirements – make sure you account for each one. When you register for you final quarter, your DARS must show that all requirements are either completed or in progress:

UW will not grant your degree unless your DARS shows that all requirements have been met when your final grades are posted:

2. Update your MyPlan so that it reflects your plan for completing your degree. If you’re unsure of the exact courses you’ll take, it’s okay to use placeholder classes as shown on the sample 4-year plan on the BSCE/BSENVE degree sheets. If you’ve taken courses outside of UW that you plan to use toward your degree, please be sure that your most recent official transcript has been sent to the UW Admissions Office. You will also want to use our CEE projected course list when planning your future CEE courses.
3. After reviewing your DARS and MyPlan, complete the google form at your earliest convenience and we will submit an online graduation application to the UW Registrar on your behalf. The form will provide a place for you to ask questions or point out any concerns you may have:
