Video in the School of Medicine curriculum

What is it?

SOMALT provides video services to the School of Medicine in several ways.

• Automated lecture capture for classroom sessions
• User made, desktop software (My Mediasite) based recordings.
• “Booth” recordings
• Full blown video production.
• Live event recording and streaming.

Why should I use it?

These video services are available for faculty to use to create video content for delivery in the SOM curriculum.  Video is an increasingly relevant and important part of course design and plays a big role in the active learning and flipped classroom design of SOM courses.

What do I do?
