Canvas, Mediasite and other platforms log on problems
Problems accessing Canvas, Mediasite and other UW platforms can be caused by web browser cache and previous log ons. Expired login sessions or conflicts from previous logins can often be fixed by refreshing the browser.
To refresh your browser:
1. Log out of all platforms (Canvas, Office/Outlook, Google, etc.) in your web browser.
2. Then, clear history and cache.

3. Then, close all web browser windows / tabs and quit the browser. Then, restart and try logging on again.

If you are having a problem with your password, the best way to reset your UW password is to email help@uw.edu ( help@uw.edu ) or call 206-221-5000 and request assistance.
